When 1.5 percent "Aplidium" is added to a mixture of isooctane and regular heptane, the octane number rises by 5.5 units according to the research technique and by 5.3 units according to the motor way, the combustion becomes uniform, and the engine runs as quickly as it can.

The additive also contains organic solvents in addition to aromatic amines. They have a cleaning action and help to avoid the production of resins in the car's fuel system.

The advent of "Aplidium" makes it easier to obtain high-octane gasoline and lowers the cost of the finished product, which completely fulfills the Euro-5 gasoline criteria.
