DIXON-M® – depressor-rheological additive

Additive depressor-rheological The structure of paraffin crystals is altered by DIXON-M®. It has a significant depressive action and is used to improve crude oil and fuel oil's low-temperature qualities. The additive content should be between 0.01 and 0.05 percent (100–500 g per ton of fuel oil).

Different types of fuel oil were used to test the additive. As a result, using DIXON-M® can reduce the pour point of crude and fuel oil. In rare situations, the depressor addition can be used to release 10 to 30% of diesel fractions and enable a more stable pour point of fuel oil during long-term storage while producing export fuel and marine fuel.
